Just spent a lovely week there at the beginning of August. Great hosts. Lovely and cosy cottage on the edge of Balloch. Built over a small stream so you can fall asleep to the sound of a babbling brook if you so wish. 40 minutes to Glasgow by car or train. Centrally located for visiting Highlands and Edinburgh. 10 minute walk to Balloch Castle and the loch side.
