Wonderful stay...we just returned from a lovely three night stay at Valhalla. We were checked in promptly and with a very warm Scottish welcome. The family room is quiet and comfortable and a perfect base for exploring the area over a few leisurely days. Great breakfasts too with a changing daily special. This is a truly wonderful little B&B and ideal for friends or couples, certainly a place we will return to.
In the beginning, we had to wait to be check-in, while we had arrived even after 3 pm. Although we phoned the owner(as suggested) nobody was replaying for a long period of time. When the owner arrived did not seem to be bothered by her neglecting. We have booked a double room for four nights. The" double room " and its facilities were adapted to a single one. The internet was really slow. In order to submit my work online, I had to sit in the corridor. The room was not properly cleaned over the stays, just towels and mugs were replaced( no hovering, no cleaning toilet(yes, once we spotted not cleaned a poo), and the floor in the toilet was just dirty). The worst thing that I have never dealt with before was bringing a dog and a child to work with owners. So every morning we were waking up at 7 am by barking and a kid scream. One of the owners seemed to be arrogant, as never replies to basic greetings such as "good morning" and generally seemed to be unhappy serving us.

Me and my Wife stayed here for 4 nights, used it as a base for exploring The Highlands, room was nice, decent size en-suite, good lighting, staff and resident dog were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Ideally located for visiting The Loch, plenty of pubs and eateries in the locality, and very handy for the train. Breakfast was good and the homemade pancakes with fruit & maple syrup were a lovely touch. Only negative aspect, if you're carrying extra baggage, towels are not big enough. Would definitely visit again though. Just remember it is a cash payment upfront on arrival.
