Super sight seeing stop. Can get busy on nice day at the weekends. It on the West Highland Way so good as a pit stop for walkers. Also, a good location to park if the Balmaha car parks are full.
One has to give this area 5 star due to the sheer beauty of this area. Walking or just a stay to unwind will do both, as looking out of windows as well as taking a good walk will refresh you. A place to put on the bucket list if not been before.
Weather was a bit grim today but, when it cleared, the views from Ben Vorlich were stunning. Three good days of walking and visiting the local eateries. Sadly we need to depart tomorrow but would like to return in the near future. Well worth the eight hour drive.
Probably the most beautiful part of Scotland. A cruise on Loch Lomond, the largest loch in Scotland is an unforgettable experience as is a drive through the Trossachs. The area can be easily visited in a day trip from Edinburgh and should not be missed.
Very scenic place for a family day out. We came here for the swim series and the water is nice and clear. Lots of shops and toilet facilities around. We walked around and found a really nice oyster stall.
